The latest senior appointments news from HDI Global UK and Ireland;
Stephanie Ogden, CEO of HDI Global UK & Ireland, will leave the business on 31 January 2026 to pursue new opportunities beyond HDI Global. The company thanks Stephanie for her outstanding contribution in shaping the UK & Ireland business and its leadership team, ensuring broker partners and clients remain at the heart of a cohesive business proposition. The company wishes her every success in the future.
Effective 1 February 2026, Simon Hunt, currently CFO, will assume the role of interim CEO, subject to regulatory approval. Hunt brings extensive financial expertise and proven leadership across insurance operations. Since joining HDI Global in 2019, he has worked across Corporate and Specialty and previously ensured continuity as Managing Director during Stephanie Ogden’s maternity leave. Alongside Simon Hunt’s appointment, Ger Twomey will step in as interim Chief Financial Officer, taking responsibility for Finance and Risk, subject to regulatory approval.
