The Caravan and Motorhome Club is delighted to announce the launch of its redesigned Caravan Cover. After extensive research, the Club has refreshed the product – making it clearer, simpler and more flexible than ever.
Caravan Cover is the Club’s own specialist financial protection product, designed for caravan owners and tailored to the realities of caravanning life. It works much like insurance and offers great flexibility, allowing you to choose the level of cover you need so you only pay for what is relevant to you. Members can select between New for Old, Market Value or Paid Value options, then build on this with optional cover for contents, equipment, awnings, overseas travel and even lending your caravan to friends and family.
Created directly from member feedback and supported by the Club’s expert in‑house team, Caravan Cover offers a smart, customisable way to financially protect your caravan and enjoy peace of mind on every journey.
The product is already highly valued for members – five-star rated on Trustpilot* and rates 9.5 out of 10 for claims experience**. The Club redesigned the new cover to reflect modern shopping habits and continues testing it with members to refine and improve it. The revised cover is very competitive in its pricing, features and member experience.
What’s new?
- A brand-new online Quote and Buy journey, now optimised for mobile users.
- New digital tools allowing members to make updates and renew online.
- More optional cover features such as overseas cover so members don’t have to pay for something they don’t need.
- Simplified cover types that make comparing ‘Market Value’ and ‘New for Old’ value even easier, plus the introduction of a new ‘Paid Value’ cover that pays the amount the member paid for the outfit should a total loss occur.
- No mid-term cancellation fees and no amendment charges.
- Higher limits of cover are now available, so we can cover more types of outfits, including those with modifications made to support improved access.
- Updated excess levels, including a new £50 minimum and a £250 option.
The product is supported by a new rating system that considers factors in more detail such as storage location, to help ensure pricing is fair and accurate.
