Purbeck Launches New Apprenticeship Scheme

The latest news from Purbeck for you;

To mark National Apprenticeship WeekPurbeck Insurance Services, the UK’s only provider of personal guarantee insurance (PGI), has launched a new apprenticeship scheme, designed to support emerging talent and build long-term careers in the insurance sector.

Purbeck is currently entering the interview stage of the programme, which will run until mid-March. The business expects to appoint up to two apprentices, who will join the company in April.

The 18-month programme will see apprentices study for the Level 3 Insurance Practitioner qualification, delivered in partnership with training provider BPP. Alongside their studies, apprentices will gain hands-on experience across Purbeck’s operations, developing practical insurance knowledge and professional skills.

Nick Linacre, Claims Manager at Purbeck Insurance Services, said: “The aim of the scheme is to help candidates achieve a recognised qualification as well as a clear pathway into a long-term, fulfilling career within the business and the wider insurance industry.

“Apprenticeships are a vital way of bringing new talent into insurance and give people a genuine opportunity to build a career in this sector. Our new programme is designed to give individuals the opportunity to develop confidence and gain real-world experience, ultimately welcoming them into Purbeck as valued members of the team.

“We’ll be sharing updates as the programme progresses and as our apprentices take the next steps in their professional journey.”

National Apprenticeship Week celebrates the impact of apprenticeships on individuals, businesses and the wider economy. Purbeck’s initiative reflects the firm’s ongoing commitment to skills development, knowledge sharing and investing in the future of the insurance profession.
