It’s time once more for a round up of the latest senior appointments news, let’s get busy. Apologies if we have missed any announcements, it’s just a time thing. 

CHUBB

Chubb Limited (NYSE: CB) today announced that Scott Henck, Executive Vice President and Chief Actuary, North America, has been appointed Senior Vice President, Chubb Group and Chief Actuary. He succeeds Paul O’Connell, who is retiring after a 40-year career in the property and casualty insurance industry. The appointment is effective April 1.

Scott Henck has been appointed Senior Vice President, Chubb Group and Chief Actuary.

In his new role, Henck will oversee all actuarial functions, including reserving, pricing and capital performance measurement.  He will report directly to Evan G. Greenberg, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Chubb Limited and Chubb Group and to Peter Enns, Executive Vice President, Chubb Group and Chief Financial Officer.

“On behalf of all of us at Chubb and me personally, I want to thank Paul for his many contributions, outstanding judgment and deep professionalism over his distinguished career,” said Greenberg. “Paul has been an important steward of Chubb’s actuarial capabilities, and we wish him all the best in his retirement.”

FADATA

Fadata, a leading European provider of core insurance software solutions, today announced the appointment of Kirsten Skarnvad as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

Kirsten brings more than 20 years of experience advising and supporting insurance organizations to scale core transformation initiatives with a strong track record in driving commercial growth, operational efficiency, and measurable return on investment. Her work has consistently focused on maximising client value, return on investment, and operational efficiency, underpinned by deep expertise across multiple core insurance platforms.

WEST P&I CLUB

West of England P&I Club (West) is pleased to announce the appointment of Alexis Wildman as Head of Products, reporting to Chief Underwriting Officer Bart Mertens, as the Club continues to develop its product offering to meet the evolving needs of its Members and the broader maritime industry in an increasingly complex risk environment.

Alexis succeeds Richard Turner, who will retire later this year following a structured handover period. Richard has played a central role in developing West’s product capability and diversification strategy and will continue to support the transition ahead of his retirement.

SIGNICAT

With a recent Signicat report revealing that 22% of UK businesses’ annual revenue is impacted by identity fraud and its prevention costs, European digital identity leader Signicat has appointed Ray Ryan as its UK Country Manager.

The appointment underscores Signicat’s commitment to the UK, a key market where the company orchestrates the full lifecycle of digital identity verification. Based in London, Ray Ryan will report to Joakim Harging, Chief Enterprise Nordics & UK and GCSS at Signicat.

MARSH

Marsh (NYSE: MRSH), a global leader in risk, reinsurance and capital, people and investments, and management consulting, recently announced that Dereck Wischmeyer has joined the company as Senior Advisor within its global Digital Infrastructure Industry Practice.

In his new role, Mr. Wischmeyer will lead Marsh’s contract strategy across leases, customer agreements, vendor contracts, and partnerships, helping clients navigate the complex and interconnected risks associated with asset lifecycles and reinvestment timing. His deep understanding of contractual risk management and extensive professional network will be instrumental in advancing Marsh’s position as a trusted advisor in the rapidly evolving digital infrastructure sector.

Mr. Wischmeyer brings to Marsh more than 12 years of specialized legal and commercial expertise in the digital infrastructure and data center ecosystem, having served most recently as General Counsel for Ark Data Centers. Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Everstream Solutions, where he led risk management, acquisitions, integrations, and refinancing. He also held legal roles with Crown Castle and Lightower Networks.

BRITISH MARINE

British Marine, part of QBE Insurance Group, has appointed Richard Inman as Portfolio Manager, British Marine P&I.
Richard is responsible for delivering British Marine’s planned P&I underwriting result as well as shaping the strategy for insurance risks across the portfolio.

Richard brings more than 13 years’ experience to the role and joins from Tindall Riley & Co., managers of the insurance mutual Britannia P&I Club, where he worked as Associate Director, Underwriting across specialist mutual insurance in London and more recently in Hong Kong.

HIVE

 Independent specialty MGA HIVE Underwriters announces the appointment of George Stylli as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Stylli brings nearly two decades of London Market technology leadership to the role, marking an important step in HIVE’s investment in top talent, advanced digital infrastructure, and knowledge-led underwriting.

Stylli joins HIVE with extensive experience across the London Market, having held senior technology leadership roles including Head of Engineering and Head of Business Solutions at Lloyd’s Managing Agents over the past 20 years. Throughout his career, he has led the delivery of complex, scalable platforms, modernised underwriting workflows, and driven technology-enabled transformation across multiple specialty insurance classes.

BRITANNIA GROUP

The Britannia Group has appointed David Roberts as its new Regional Head of Asia, effective 23 February 2026. David is based in the Britannia Group’s Singapore office and has responsibility for its regional hub offices in Asia and servicing Members throughout the region. David joins the Britannia Group from NorthStandard where he was Head of Asia Pacific. David was with NorthStandard for over thirty years and has been in Singapore since 2013, having previously worked in London, Athens and New York.

ROKSTONE

Rokstone, the International Specialty (Re)Insurance MGA, has announced the appointment of Sophie Elwood as a Class Underwriter to its International Casualty Division, further strengthening the depth and expertise of its fast-growing global Casualty team.

Elwood joins Rokstone from Convex, where she specialised in International Casualty underwriting. She brings 13 years’ market experience, with a strong track record of underwriting complex, cross-border risks and delivering disciplined, profitable growth. Based in the UK, she will work closely with Portfolio Manager Sam Wylie as the division continues to scale internationally.

The International Casualty Division was launched in January 2026 as part of Rokstone’s strategic expansion of its global Casualty portfolio. Backed by A rated Lloyd’s capacity, the division provides brokers with long-term security, underwriting consistency, and global reach, supported by a first-class claims function and some of the strongest paper available in the market.

SPECIALTY MGA

Specialty MGA, an MGA platform that forms part of MNK Group, has expanded its specialist financial lines offering with the appointment of Davood Khalaghizadeh as Senior Underwriter for Directors and Officers (D&O), reinforcing the Group’s commitment to building a market‑leading commercial D&O platform.

Khalaghizadeh brings a wealth of experience shaped across several leading global insurers and MGAs including AIG, QBE, and later CV Starr, where he managed the D&O portfolio. He went on to re‑establish and grow the D&O book at Aspen, with time also at Volante. His background spans the global market, combining expertise in small lines and high excess layers with a strong reinsurance focus and broader exposure to specialist risk markets.
WTW

WTW (NASDAQ: WTW), a global advisory, broking and solutions company, has announced the appointment of George Lewkowicz as Global Proposition Leader for P&C Capital Modelling within the company’s Insurance Consulting and Technology business.

Lewkowicz, a seasoned actuarial professional with close to 20 years of experience in capital modelling, reinsurance pricing and reserving, joined WTW in 2022 and has since led the development of the market-leading risk analytics platform Igloo.

Based in London, Lewkowicz will now be responsible for spearheading WTW’s global P&C capital modelling and reinsurance pricing solutions, driving innovation, business development and tailored solutions that help insurers better understand their risk and capital needs.

AEGIS LONDON

AEGIS London, the top-quartile Lloyd’s syndicate, has announced the appointment of Neil Bayles as its Chief Information Officer (CIO).
As CIO – a newly created position within AEGIS London – Bayles will be responsible for developing and executing the firm’s IT strategy, in support of its wider corporate objectives.
His role will focus on deploying technology to enhance service quality and capitalising on new technologies that will strengthen AEGIS London’s competitive position in the market.
Bayles will report directly to Marianne Harvey, Chief Operating Officer, AEGIS London.
Commenting on his appointment, Bayles said: “AEGIS London has a strong reputation across the London market as a high-performing, innovative syndicate that has invested significantly in digital and data capabilities to better serve its clients and the wider market.

CONSILIUM

Consilium, the global speciality (re)insurance broker, is pleased to announce the expansion of its claims team with the appointment of three highly experienced claims professionals.

Nicole Crowhurst (ABOVE) has joined Consilium as an Associate Partner. Formerly an Associate Director at Evolin Broking Ltd, Nicole brings 33 years of claims handling experience, with specialist expertise in international Property, Marine, Professional Indemnity, and Cyber claims gained at both Evolin and ACN. Her background also includes handling Reinsurance claims at Aon and Guy Carpenter.

Louise Biddell has joined Consilium as a Senior Associate. Joining from Price Forbes, where she was a Senior Claims Specialist, Louise is a law graduate with 22 years of experience in international Casualty, Property and Subrogation claims. Her experience also includes roles at Lockton, Xchanging, SCOR and AIG.

Kristin DeSouza (ABOVE) also joins Consilium as a Senior Associate from Price Forbes, where she was a Senior Claims Advocate. Whilst Kristin brings 24 years of experience as a specialist in Reinsurance, she has also covered Casualty, Medical Malpractice, General Liability, Property and Professional Indemnity claims in a career that has included roles at Besso, Aon and Swiss Re.

These three new female senior claims hires bring the total combined years of expertise in the claims team to over 200. Together, the team (which includes two senior (re)insurance lawyers and other technical and operational claims broking experts) has a broad range of UK and international expertise covering the full spectrum of global Professional and Financial, Casualty, Property, Construction, Cargo, Cyber, Healthcare and Reinsurance risks. Its collaborative “all in” culture ensures every member of the team is empowered to bring their expertise to the fore, consistently delivering an exceptional service and the best possible outcome on every claim.

MARKERSTUDY

Tony Welch has been appointed to the position of Chief Procurement Officer at Markerstudy, bringing with him a wealth of experience gained over 25 years in the financial services sector. Most recently as Chief Procurement Officer at Lloyd’s, his career includes senior roles for Close Brothers, JLT Group, Accenture and Willis Towers Watson.

As an accomplished procurement leader with a distinguished track record of driving transformation, operational excellence, and sustained commercial value, the role will see Tony lead on all end-to-end procurement activities, including further strengthening supplier governance, optimising risk-management frameworks and embedding digital capabilities, with a key lens on sustainability priorities and ensuring strategic value across the Group.

THOMAS CARROLL

Independent insurance, risk, and insurtech business Thomas Carroll is pleased to announce the appointment of Terry Edwards as Account Director and Laura James as Account Executive in its London office.
Terry Edwards, from London, joins Thomas Carroll with 30 years of insurance leadership, including tenures at Marsh, Vista, and as Senior Partner at JLT Specialty. A specialist in UK and European commercial real estate, Terry excels in de-risking complex, high-value portfolios with tailored, sophisticated solutions for an evolving market.
Laura James, from Essex, joins as Account Executive, bringing deep expertise in underwriting, client relationship management and commercial trading. She previously worked for Mint Insurance Brokers, which were an acquisition of James Hallam two years ago, with a total service 10 years. There, she developed a strong foundation in delivering high-quality service and strategic insurance solutions to clients.

SIXFOLD
Insurtech Sixfold has recently announced the appointment of Tony Rosa as Chief Data & Analytics Officer. Rosa, who previously led the adoption of Sixfold’s platform as a customer, brings 15 years of insurance data and underwriting strategy experience to help scale the company’s AI underwriting brain.
The appointment follows Sixfold’s recent $30M Series B led by Brewer Lane with participation from Guidewire.
Rosa’s priority will be to build portfolio-level intelligence that enables underwriters to move from analysing individual submissions to working strategically at the portfolio level: spotting emerging risks, optimizing their book’s composition, and making proactive decisions about where to deploy capacity rather than reacting submission by submission.
