ALA INSURANCE
GAP insurance provider ALA Insurance has appointed Scott Greenhill as Non-Executive Director, adding 37 years of market experience spanning insurers, Lloyd’s syndicates and brokers across personal and commercial lines.
Scott’s career includes senior underwriting and leadership roles at LV= Broker, Atlanta Group and Autonet, alongside earlier positions within Lloyd’s and specialist motor underwriting businesses. He has also founded and led multiple ventures, including Agile Developments and Enterprise Insurance & TPA, building expertise across underwriting, capacity provision, broker acquisitions, telematics, connected car, AI, machine learning and SaaS platforms.
For ALA, the move reflects a deliberate focus on refining underwriting capability while expanding both its product offering and relationships with insurers.
CONSUMER INTELLIGENCE
Consumer Intelligence has appointed Ann Constantine as Managing Director, with founder Ian Hughes transitioning to Chair as part of a planned leadership evolution at one of the UK insurance market’s leading independent insight providers.
Ann joined the business as COO in 2023 after more than two decades at Direct Line Group leading market intelligence and competitor analysis. She now takes operational leadership of the firm as insurers face increasing pressure to understand what is really happening across pricing, consumer behaviour and competitive dynamics in a rapidly shifting market.
OAK GLOBAL

OAK Global, a leading risk partner, today announces the appointment of Kaylee Darkins to the role of Chief People and Communications Officer, effective 9 March. She will be based in London and will report directly to Cathal Carr, Founder and CEO.
In her role, Darkins will lead OAK Global’s people strategy, communications and sustainability agenda, bringing these functions together under a single leadership position for the first time.
COFACE

Coface, a global leading player in trade credit risk management, announces the appointment of Priscilla Ng as Commercial Director for Singapore, effective 10 March 2026.
Priscilla is responsible for strengthening Coface’s commercial strategy and empowering clients to better manage trade credit risks. She reports to Grishma Kewada, Chief Executive and Country Manager (Singapore), Coface.
Priscilla brings over a decade of commercial sales experience in the insurance and healthcare sectors. She joins Coface from AIG, where she was Head of Sales for APAC Trade Credit. She has previously held sales leadership roles at Abbott, where she managed multi-market teams across Singapore and Brunei, accelerated revenue performance, and built customer focused teams that delivered strong commercial outcomes.
THREE AT QBE; STARTING WITH STEPHANIE
QBE, the business insurer, has appointed Stephanie Cryer as Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) for its International division, effective 1 April 2026, subject to regulatory approval.
In her new role, Stephanie will report to Jason Harris, Chief Executive Officer, QBE International and will join QBE’s International Executive Management Board. She will be working closely with Peter Burton, QBE Group Chief Underwriting Officer.
Stephanie joined QBE in 2017 as Head of Property before progressing to Head of Product Leaders in 2021, leading product strategy, wordings and underwriting controls across multiple lines and jurisdictions. She has over 30 years of experience covering all major product lines and geographies, with previous roles at Chubb and ACE (now Chubb).
She takes over from Nick Hankin, who was appointed Managing Director of QBE Re, effective 1 January 2026.
CLIENT ENGAGEMENT AT QBE

Global insurer QBE has appointed Melody Lyndon-Stanford as Head of Client Engagement.
Melody brings more than 15 years of insurance experience to the role, having started her career as an underwriter and specialising in client-focused roles since 2021. She joins QBE from Aviva, where she most recently held the role of Client Relationship and Innovation Manager.
Melody will shape QBE’s client engagement strategy across industries, geographies and customer segments. She will also work closely with underwriters, claims and distribution in line with our integrated client approach.
In the newly created role, Melody will be based in London and report into Matt Lacy, Director of Client Proposition for QBE’s European Operations. The role is effective from June 2026.
NEW GM IN CANADA

International business insurer QBE has promoted Scott Pidduck to the newly created role of General Manager for Canada, with a focus on driving continued disciplined growth within the country.
Scott Pidduck has been with QBE since 2012, when he joined as a Professional Liability and Cyber Underwriter. Three years later, he was promoted to Underwriting Manager for Financial Lines and Cyber and in 2018 he took up the role of Director of Underwriting, Canada.
Scott Pidduck holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Georgian College and started his insurance career with ACE-INA (Chubb), before joining QBE.
OPEN GI

Open GI has appointed Thomas Bailey to the newly-created role of Head of Data, signalling its commitment to evolving its data proposition and cementing its position as the specialist technology partner of choice to the insurance space.
Bailey joins Open GI from Halfords where he was Data Engineering Manager. He will be based in Worcester and report to Chief Technology Officer, Andy Brockway.
In the new role, Bailey will focus on overseeing data strategy and producing more high-value data products to support colleagues and Open GI partners to do more and better business. He will be backed by a team of ten dedicated data experts.
THING CO
Following significant growth in 2025, telematics insurtech, ThingCo, has been on a recruitment drive to build its data science and operations resources. Adam Lough has joined the Operations team to take ownership of operational processes. Elliot Hurley has joined the Data Analytics and Data Science team, supporting the company’s delivery of valuable insight to its customers.
As Mike Brockman, CEO of ThingCo explained, both appointments are critical to the company’s continued expansion following the £2million investment by BHL (UK) Holdings Limited in 2025.
“In the last year, ThingCo has seen significant uplift in the size of our user base, providing us and our customers with a greater universe of driver experience from which to develop effective risk management strategies. DEVONSHIRE UNDERWRITING

Devonshire Underwriting, the Managing General Agent (“MGA”) specialising in underwriting transactional risk (“TR”) solutions, is delighted to announce the appointment of Liria Martinez-Salmon as Managing Director – Head of Southern Europe, marking a significant milestone as the business makes its first overseas hire. Based in Madrid, Liria will lead Devonshire’s Southern European strategy and underwriting execution, with primary responsibility for Spain, France, Italy and Portugal.
Liria is widely recognised in the Transactional Risk market, bringing deep expertise across Spanish, French and Italian transactions in particular. She joins Devonshire from RiskPoint, where she most recently served as Head of M&A – Mediterranean, building a strong track record of underwriting complex cross-border deals and developing long-standing relationships with brokers, law firms and private equity sponsors across the region.
PFS
The PFS has (9 March 2026 announced the appointments of Dr Alan Whittle FPFS and Adam Harper as new Directors of the organisation.
Dr Whittle, a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the PFS, has previously served as the President, Education Secretary and Careers Officer of the Aberdeen Institute of Insurance and Financial Services, as the Chair of the PFS North Scotland Region, and as a CII National Forum Officer for Scotland.
Adam Harper is Executive Director, Strategy, Advocacy and Professional Standards in the CII Group. Adam replaces Gill White, who retired from the CII Group and as a Director of the PFS Board at the end of 2025.
Ian Callaghan’s term of office as a Director of the PFS has also been extended for a further year.
AXA XL
AXA XL has appointed Sebastian Weaver as Head of Energy, UK & Lloyd’s. Based in London, he starts his role in Q3 2026.
Mr. Weaver will be responsible for developing, executing and managing the underwriting strategies for AXA XL’s UK & Lloyd’s Energy business, focusing on profitable growth, effective risk management and market development.

KYND
Cyber risk intelligence company KYND has announced a new senior appointment to its US team as it continues to grow its client base and provide deeper insight into SME cyber risk for the insurance market.
Aaron Aanenson joins KYND as Head of Insurance, North America, and will lead its insurance strategy across the US. Aaron will work with insurer clients and brokers to ensure KYND supports fast and accurate underwriting decisions and clearer portfolio oversight, as well as helping cyber insurers to unlock growth amongst the SME market.
