To provide greater product choice and competitive premiums to motor insurance customers in Northern Ireland, AbbeyAutoline, a leading broker brand within Prestige Insurance Holdings, has entered into a significant new agreement with LexisNexis® Risk Solutions investing in data insights to support its motor insurance customers. LexisNexis Risk Solutions will help AbbeyAutoline, the largest broker in Northern Ireland, attract more insurers to the region and deliver better value for consumers as motor insurance costs in Northern Ireland continue to be amongst the highest in the U.K.

AbbeyAutoline will leverage Broker Intelligence from LexisNexis Risk Solutions, a suite of broker specific data enrichment solutions used at point of quote, to gain a deeper understanding of insurance risk. This includes granular, real-time data on customers’ No Claims Discount entitlements and further unique insights from LexisNexis® Policy Insights which leverages industry-wide motor policy history data.

These insights will be delivered at the point of quote to help brokers provide a frictionless quote experience, offer more competitive pricing based on a clearer understanding of the customer and recommend product options suited to the customer’s individual needs. Crucially it also means AbbeyAutoline can fully represent their region and clients, while their panel insurers gain the insights they need to underwrite with confidence in Northern Ireland.

This eliminates the need to source data from multiple providers, enabling AbbeyAutoline to access the data it needs in real time, initially for motor insurance and, in the future, for home insurance, too.
