BMS Group, the independent specialist insurance and reinsurance broker, has recently announced its partnership with EigenRisk to integrate the EigenPrism platform into iVision™, BMS’ flagship catastrophe risk management solution. The integration enhances iVision’s GIS-powered analytics with real-time event intelligence, multi-provider data access, and advanced reporting. The update will enable carriers to make faster, more informed underwriting and risk management decisions across complex catastrophe and man-made perils.
BMS iVision is trusted by insurers to reduce claims costs, manage large-loss exposure, and assess portfolio concentration before binding. The addition of EigenPrism expands these capabilities through access to more than 30 data and model providers, scalable geo-visualisation tools, and real-time alerts delivered via desktop and mobile. This creates a unified platform for exposure management, event response, and post-loss recovery.
Key enhancements include:
Real-time event monitoring and alerts: Live peril feeds and custom-triggered alerts for tornado tracks, hail intensity, hurricane wind fields, and historical PCS events, paired with customisable damage ratios to assess potential financial impact.
Scalable portfolio stress testing: Rapid analysis to identify concentration risk and exposure blind spots, supporting confident loss projections and disciplined underwriting.
Seamless data integration: A combined ecosystem that brings together iVision’s proprietary relationships with EigenPrism’s multi-provider platform for flexible, self-directed event analysis and sensitivity testing.
Enhanced decision support: Advanced geo-visualisation and reporting tools that support profitable growth while enabling proactive claims and risk mitigation strategies.
Deepak Badoni, president and co-founder of EigenRisk said: “Our partnership with BMS continues our long-standing track record of collaborating with industry thought leaders to deliver actionable analytics at the point of decision making, from exposure management and underwriting, to event response. The BMS iVision team has already been instrumental in initiating several key enhancements to the platform from new data feeds to usability improvements.”
Andrew Siffert, head of global peril advisory at BMS added: “As a leading global broker, we know that unlocking the value of client data is critical to delivering meaningful insights and exceptional service. Integrating EigenRisk’s leading technology into iVision creates a powerful, end-to-end platform that helps clients reduce claims through advanced alerting, manage large losses in high-exposure areas, and build more resilient, profitable portfolios.”
The enhanced iVision platform is available to BMS clients immediately, reinforcing BMS’s commitment to delivering client-centric, data-driven and innovative solutions.
