Professionals from across healthcare, legal, case management and the charity sector will come together this May for a new seminar focused on working together to improve outcomes for people following traumatic injury. Here are the details for you;
Hosted by leading independent care provider Agincare, the free Injury to Independence event will take place on 12 May 2026 at Southampton Football Club, bringing together key voices from across the recovery pathway to explore how greater collaboration can support individuals to regain independence.
The seminar responds to a growing challenge within complex injury care: while individual parts of the system are working hard to deliver support, the overall journey from injury to independence can often be fragmented.
Agincare Managing Director Sam Mayes said:
“The event will create a space for professionals to share perspectives, challenge thinking and build the connections needed to improve coordination in practice.
“Attendees will hear from expert speakers representing healthcare, legal and rehabilitation services, alongside a personal perspective that brings to life the real-world impact of the care journey.”
Speakers include representatives from Circle Health Group, Bevan Brittan, Circle Case Management, Headway charity, and Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, each offering insight into different stages of the recovery journey.
The seminar also marks the launch of Agincare’s Complex Injury Partnership Programme (CIPP) – designed specifically for case managers, legal and other professional partners seeking a clinically robust, operationally reliable solution for their work with traumatic or life changing injury.
The Injury to Independence seminar will run from 9.30am to 2pm, with time for networking and discussion built into the programme.
The event is free to attend, but places are limited. More details can be found at www.agincare.com/complex-injury-partnerships/events/
