Personal lines insurance provider, The Insurance Emporium, has announced its very own ‘Good Things Happen’ awards with entries to the awards officially open now! (20th April 2026). The awards will recognise the UK’s most inspiring pets, hobbies, and communities, with categories spanning everything from caravanning and cycling to student life and photography.
About the Good Things Happen Awards
The Good Things Happen Awards aim to celebrate the positive stories behind everyday passions, shining a spotlight on the people, pets and places that make life more enjoyable.
Nominations have officially opened and will close on 31st May 2026. A select few categories will be judged by a panel of experts, while the rest will be voted for by the public between 3rd August and 11th September 2026. The awards ceremony will take place on 25th September 2025.

- Most Talented Pet / Best Trick
- Most Talented Horse
- Best Campsite
- Best Wedding Proposal
- Best Photograph
- Best Local Gig Venue
- Best Student Union
- Best Charitable Initiative
- Best Sporting Achievement (for any achievement relating to cycling, golf, fishing, and equine.)
