Orvia Underwriting Enters Netherlands Market

The latest expansion move from Orvia Underwriting;

Orvia Underwriting is proud to announce it has entered the Dutch market.

The panEuropean MGA platform will focus on specialist insurance lines of business, requiring deep technical underwriting expertise and tailored solutions, including High Net Worth Personal Lines, Fine Art, Jewellery and Specie and Commercial Property. Orvia’s entry into the market marks a transition to a scalable, international MGA platform combining local underwriting expertise with group-wide capabilities.

Private Insurance Assuradeuren (PIA), Private Insurance Nederland (PIN) and Classicus Europe BV will be integrated into Orvia Underwriting in the coming months. This combines local entrepreneurial teams with the scale, infrastructure and the financial backing of The Ardonagh Group, bringing their expertise together, to create a stronger offering for the market.

Orvia is a single, scalable platform that combines a number of Ardonagh-owned MGAs, representing a combined base portfolio of more than €250 million in GWP. With Orvia, brokers and capacity partners gain access to a broader, increasingly pan-European product offering through a single platform, with enhanced underwriting agility, flexibility and appetite for more complex and non-standard risks. Building on its recent London market entry, this expansion into the Dutch market further strengthens Orvia’s footprint in Europe.
