HDI GLOBAL
With effect from 1 July 2026, HDI Global will appoint Thomas Kropp as COO/CIO. He will succeed Executive Board member Dr Thomas Kuhnt, who has personally decided to step down from the Executive Board on 30 June 2026 at his own request and following a joint agreement, in order to take up a new professional opportunity outside the Talanx Group.
Consequently, HDI Global will adjust responsibilities on the Executive Board in line with the corporate strategy Xcelerate29. This step supports excellence in the core business while strengthening the foundation for continued profitable growth and long-term stability.
After more than 13 successful years, Andreas Krosta, Head of Group Communications, is leaving the Talanx Group on 31 August 2026 to take on a new and challenging management role outside the Talanx Group. His successor will be Dr Martin Weldi, currently Head of Group Corporate Development. He will lead communications in addition to his existing responsibilities. Bernd Sablowsky will lead external communications at Talanx AG, also in addition to his existing responsibilities.
AON
Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, today announced that Kai-Frank Buechter and Tracy-Lee Kus will serve as co-CEOs of EMEA, effective June 1, with Buechter overseeing Continental Europe and North Africa and Kus responsible for the UK, Ireland, South Africa and the Middle East. Additionally, Pedro Penalva will serve as CEO of Latin America, effective July 1.
Buechter, Kus and Penalva will report to Greg Case, president and CEO of Aon, and serve on the Aon Executive Committee. Alfonso Gallego de Chaves will serve as Deputy CEO of EMEA, effective June 1, and Andrea Parisi will serve as chair of Continental Europe, effective January 1, 2027, both reporting to Buechter. The firm’s North America and APAC regions remain under the leadership of Anne Corona and Jennifer Richards, respectively.
BISHOP STREET UNDERWRITERS
Bishop Street Underwriters (“Bishop Street”), a RedBird Capital Partners portfolio company, has announced that John Inwood has been promoted to U.K. Chief Underwriting Officer, subject to regulatory approval. In this new role, he will oversee Bishop Street’s underwriting strategy across its U.K. footprint, encompassing the operations of Avid Insurance (“Avid”) and Landmark Underwriting (“Landmark”).
John most recently spent five years as Chief Underwriting Officer at Avid Insurance, responsible for implementing the underwriting standards, portfolio discipline and cultivating carrier relationships that underpin Avid’s competitive position within the U.K. insurance market. With over 35 years of deep industry expertise, he will focus on driving Bishop Street’s continued growth in the region, prioritizing disciplined risk management, developing critical partnerships and equipping Bishop Street’s best-in-class underwriting talent with the tools to operate at scale.
LOMBARD ASSET FINANCE
Businesses across the capital and South East have received a new boost, after Lombard Asset Finance appointed Laura Capper as the firm’s Regional Managing Director. The move reinforces the UK’s largest asset finance provider’s commitment to supporting regional growth and investment.
Chosen for her considerable expertise, Laura brings nearly 20 years of experience across asset finance and banking, having held a number of senior leadership roles within Lombard and the wider NatWest Group. These range from customer facing, commercial and leadership positions, placing Laura firmly as an expert in how to best support businesses to grow.
As Regional Managing Director for London & South East, Laura will lead Lombard’s regional strategy, supporting firms across the area to access the funding and specialist knowledge they need.
ARROW GROUP

Arrow Global Group (“Arrow”), a leading pan-European investment manager specialising in private credit and real estate, is pleased to announce the appointment of Enrico Bertagna as CEO of Arrow MGA Solutions, a division of Arrow Global Insurance (“AGI”).
Enrico will lead Arrow MGA Solutions, a division focused on developing and overseeing Arrow’s MGA partnerships. The division will support AGI’s strategy of building specialist, non-catastrophe insurance capabilities in markets where underwriting expertise, structuring and disciplined capital management are critical.
ZURICH ASIA PACIFIC
Zurich Insurance Company (Singapore) Ltd. (“Zurich Singapore”) has announced key leadership appointments to its Asia Pacific Commercial Insurance business. Based in Singapore, Giles Crowley has been appointed as Head of Customer & Distribution Management (CDM), Asia Pacific, and Kin Lee has been promoted to Head of Energy, Asia Pacific.
Mr. Crowley and Mr. Lee will play central roles in advancing Zurich’s growth ambitions across the region.
Mr. Crowley will lead the development and performance management of Zurich’s Customer & Distribution Management function across Asia Pacific. He will be responsible for driving growth across all distribution channels and customer segments, ensuring a high-quality and consistent go-to-market approach, strengthening broker relationships and enhancing customer engagement.
Mr. Lee will lead the development and execution of underwriting strategy for Zurich’s Energy portfolio across the region. He will work closely with in-country teams to support and develop underwriting capabilities, strengthen distribution partnerships, enhance portfolio management techniques and develop new product capabilities to meet market needs and ensure sustainable growth.
FEDERATO
Federato, the AI-native platform that changes the way insurance work gets done, has announced the appointment of Yogesh Sapre as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

HIVE UNDERWRITING
HIVE Underwriting Ltd. (“HIVE”) announces the appointment of James Lee as Non-Executive Director, with effect from 19th May 2026, further strengthening its Board as the business continues its next phase of growth.
James brings over 40 years of experience in the Lloyd’s market, including more than two decades at Atrium Underwriters Ltd., where he served as Agency Managing Director and Group Chief Operations Officer. During his tenure, he played a central role in the firm’s operational development and long-term performance, helping to build a resilient and scalable underwriting platform.
ARCH

Arch Insurance France (Arch) today announced the appointment of Charlotte Jephos as Claims Manager with immediate effect.
In this role, Jephos manages Arch’s claims across France, including but not limited to cyber, casualty and executive assurance. Based in Paris, she reports to Ray Graham, Head of Claims, Arch Insurance EU.
With over 10 years of insurance market experience, Jephos joins Arch from Beazley where she was a Claims Manager. She has also held claims roles at AIG and prior to joining the insurance industry, was a litigation lawyer in Paris.
CFC

CFC, the specialist insurance provider, pioneer in emerging risk and market leader in cyber, is pleased to announce the appointment of industry veteran John Howard as Chair, subject to regulatory approval.
Howard brings over thirty years of sector experience, including an outstanding track record in US specialty, CFC’s biggest distribution market and a priority for future growth. Howard previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Truist Insurance Holdings which included market-leading businesses like AmRisc, CRC, Crump, McGriff, and Starwind. Additionally, he currently serves as Independent Non-Executive Director of Everest Group, Chairman of Compre Group, and Chairman of The Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers.
Howard’s experience and relationships will support CFC’s growth strategy in the US market, and his appointment follows investment in its onshore leadership team earlier this year. Justin Camara was appointed as Chief Executive Officer, CFC USA in January.
LIBERTY
Liberty Specialty Markets, part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, announces the appointment of Monique Kooijman as General Manager for Netherlands, Belgium and the Nordics, subject to regulatory approval. Kooijman will be based in the Netherlands and will report into Pierre-Edouard Fraigneau, President, Liberty Europe.
Kooijman joins Liberty from Everest, where she served as Head of Northern Europe, playing a key role in accelerating regional growth and strengthening strategic broker relationships across the market. She brings more than 30 years of international insurance experience, having previously held senior leadership positions at Chubb and CNA Hardy.
At CNA Hardy, Kooijman was Regional Director with responsibility for the Benelux, Germany and the Nordics. Prior to that, she spent 25 years at Chubb in a variety of senior management roles across Claims, Underwriting and as Country Manager.
MINSTER LAW

Leading personal injury law firm Minster Law has appointed Craig Gilchrist as Director of Technology and Digital Platforms, a newly created Executive role reflecting the growing importance of technology, data and digital capability in the firm’s next phase of growth.
Craig will report directly to CEO Shirley Woolham and will lead the development of Minster Law’s technology and digital platform strategy, supporting the firm’s ambition to combine specialist personal injury expertise with data-driven delivery, agile operating models and contemporary digital capability.
The appointment comes as Minster continues to invest in the systems, data and digital capability needed to continue to evolve the experience of clients and colleagues, strengthen the service it provides to business partners and support the firm’s long-term growth.
MARSH
Marsh (NYSE: MRSH), a global leader in risk, reinsurance and capital, people and investments, and management consulting, has announced the appointment of Helen Haggie as UK Chief Claims Officer, Marsh Risk, effective 20 July, 2026. Ms. Haggie is based in London and will report to Tom Davies, Head of UK Placement, Marsh Risk and Rob Powell, Global Chief Claims Officer, Marsh Risk.
As UK Chief Claims Officer, Ms. Haggie will have overall responsibility for delivering service excellence to Marsh Risk’s UK clients throughout the claims process. She will also harness Marsh’s wealth of claims experience and data to support clients in making more sophisticated and better-informed risk management and risk transfer decisions.
