Job Moves and Senior Appointments 01.06.2026

Yep we are into June already, here’s the latest round up of senior level appointments;

SANTAM

 Santam Syndicate 1918 (“the Syndicate”), part of Santam Group, Africa’s largest non-life insurer, today announces the appointment of Sam Geddes as Chief Executive Officer. Geddes will report to Gareth Beaver, CEO of Santam Specialist Solutions, and will be based in London.

Geddes brings more than 25 years of Lloyd’s and international insurance market experience to the role. He joins from MS Amlin, where he served as Deputy Chief Underwriting Officer and Head of Reinsurance, Partnerships, and Portfolio and Exposure Management. His career spans senior leadership positions across the market, including Head of Property and Allied Lines at MS Amlin, Deputy Active Underwriter and Head of Property at Everest Syndicate 2786, Underwriting Director for Kiln Syndicate 510 in Asia, and a range of leadership roles in the US market.

BEAZLEY

Beazley, the leading specialty insurer, today announces that Stefan Wunderlich has been appointed Head of Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) alongside his existing role of Head of Parametric and will be relocating to Bermuda subject to immigration approval.

Beazley’s commitment to Bermuda has been further strengthened by the confirmation of its new office location at Ninety-One, 91 Front Street, which will open in June 2027. This builds on its continued investment in the island as its strategic hub for complex and specialty solutions – including ART, Mortgage Indemnity Insurance and Property Treaty Reinsurance.

MRH TROWE

MRH Trowe is realigning its management structure as part of its 2030 growth strategy. The focus remains on the customer-oriented segment structure with Insurance, Benefits, Finance, Private & Commercial and Products.

Christiane Schneider will assume responsibility for the Insurance segment as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Schneider comes from AXA Germany, where she was head of exclusive sales. Previously, she held management positions at the Allianz Group, among other positions.

“With Christiane Schneider, we have gained a high-profile expert who supports our growth course. By 2030, we want to double our sales again. This will not only be done by ‘running faster’, but also requires structural improvements and a clear focus on our purpose ‘Creating Safety’,” says Ralph Rockel.

ORX

 ORX, the global association of operational risk professionals within the finance sector based in Bath, Somerset, today announces the appointment of Giulio Mignola, Vice Chair (Services) at Intesa Sanpaolo, to Chair of the ORX Board.

Giulio, who succeeds Lisa Broomer, is taking on the position at a pivotal moment for the operational and non-financial risk (ONFR) industry, as it plays an increasingly central role in organisational resilience, strategy, and long-term success.

Giulio has been an active member of the ORX community for many years. In his role at Intesa Sanpaolo, he leads the Enterprise Risk Management Department, overseeing Pillar 2 risks, capital adequacy, integrated risk reporting, stress testing, operational risk analytics and risk data aggregation and reporting. He previously served as Head of Group Operational Risk Management.

QBE

QBE today announced the appointment of Andy Tsui as Head of Underwriting, Corporate for Hong Kong and Macau, and Asia Head of People Risk, effective 1 June 2026. Based in Hong Kong, Mr. Tsui will report to Ms. Lei Yu, Chief Executive Officer of North Asia.

With over 23 years’ experience in the insurance industry, Mr. Tsui is expected to hold local underwriting authority across all corporate product lines, and work closely with both the regional Chief Underwriting Officer office and product heads to oversee underwriting performance and operations and strategy. In his concurrent role as Asia Head of People Risk, Mr. Tsui will shape and execute the firm’s People Risk customer value proposition for Asia.

LOCKTON

Lockton, the world’s largest independent insurance broker, has appointed Jordane Terrasse as a Global Client Advocate, effective 13 July 2026.      Jordane will be based in London, working in Lockton’s Major Accounts business and bringing over 25 years of experience across broking, banking and operational risk management in the London insurance market.

Jordane was previously Head of Group Insurance and Risk Transfer at the London Stock Exchange Group, with responsibilities for insurance and operational risk management. Prior to this appointment by Lockton, Jordane was also a board member and Deputy Chair of Airmic, where she chaired their Special Interest Group (SIG) for Financial Institutions.

GALLAGHER

Gallagher, the global insurance broking and risk management company, today welcomes Laura Repko as Senior Director, Capital Solutions, into its global multidisciplinary Private Equity and M&A practice (PEMA). Laura’s appointment underscores Gallagher’s commitment to delivering innovative and tailored financial solutions for lenders and borrowers involved in complex transactional situations and its continued investment in the broader M&A and capital advisory space.

In this newly created role, Laura will be based out of London and focus on providing bespoke solutions across a range of lending scenarios to support the flow of finance, including credit enhancement, compliance with banking and accounting regulations, working capital financing, and capital event situations. Working closely with Gallagher’s M&A Transactional Risk team and Real Estate Advisory team, Laura will ensure clients benefit from a fully integrated approach to their financial and strategic needs across a broad range of transactions.

HDI GLOBAL

Kai Schulte-Schrepping is appointed as the new Head of Liability Global Risk at Corporate & Specialty Insurer HDI Global. Schulte-Schrepping succeeds Daniel Maurer, who has decided to gradually step out of his current leadership role as part of his transition towards retirement.

With more than a decade at HDI Global, Kai Schulte-Schrepping brings deep technical underwriting expertise and strong leadership experience in the area of complex global Liability risks. In this role, he assumes overall responsibility for the worldwide Liability Global Risk portfolio at HDI Global. Schulte-Schrepping will report directly to Dr Mukadder Erdönmez, Member of the Executive Board of HDI Global, responsible for Liability, Cyber, Motor and the US Market.

Schulte-Schrepping’s predecessor Daniel Maurer joined HDI Global in 2021 and played a key role in designing the distinct Liability Global Risk Strategy, growing the portfolio and developing the global value proposition of Liability Global Risk. He will remain with HDI Global and will take over a new role within US Market Management, continuing to report to Dr Erdönmez.

UIB

 United Insurance Brokers (UIB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Linden Vytelingum as Head of International Property within the Specialty Lines Division, further strengthening the firm’s global property offering.

Linden brings extensive experience across the international property market, having held senior roles at leading broking firms. He began his career at Aon as a Property Broker with the APAC and mining team, before joining ED Broking, where he worked within the International Property team managing a broad portfolio of global clients across Europe, the Caribbean, and Latin America.

He subsequently moved to Guy Carpenter, where he contributed to the European Property offering, playing a key role in structuring and placing large and complex property programmes. He later continued similar work at Willis, further deepening his expertise in delivering tailored solutions across diverse markets and occupancies. Linden is also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII).

PREVISICO

Previsico, the live flood forecasting insurtech, has appointed Mark Trumper as Chief Executive Officer to lead the company through its next phase of growth and international expansion.

Trumper will join Previsico from Axco Insurance Information, where he served as Managing Director for five years. He brings extensive experience in driving company performance and delivering financial and operational growth across the insurance sector.

As CEO, Trumper will be responsible for leading the company’s strategy, overseeing operational delivery, and scaling the business across the UK, while accelerating expansion into the US and other international markets.
