The latest news from AG insurance;
AG Insurance and BNP Paribas Fortis, the joint shareholders of Touring NV since July 2023, have signed an agreement under which AG will acquire BNP Paribas Fortis’ 25% stake in Touring NV. In this way, AG will become the full 100% owner of the leading Belgian provider of roadside assistance and travel assistance. A continued investment program will allow Touring to continue to grow and to continue to improve the quality of its services.
Loyal partners
AG Insurance, BNP Paribas Fortis and Touring, three leading players in their sector, have developed a partnership since 2019 on mobility, prevention and assistance. This partnership was significantly strengthened in 2023, when AG Insurance became 75% shareholders and BNP Paribas Fortis 25% shareholders of Touring SA.
As an extension of the renewal of the 15-year commercial partnership between AG and BNP Paribas Fortis – which was announced at the end of 2025 – both partners are now reshuffling the shareholding of Touring SA. The fact that AG will become the sole owner and make additional investments in Touring NV will allow the successful implementation of the multi-year plan and further strengthen Touring’s leading position in the field of roadside assistance and travel assistance.
