Hood Group Working With Morrisons on Travel & Pet Cover

Hood Group, one of the UK’s most established and experienced affinity insurance specialists, is pleased to announce the launch of a new pet and travel insurance offering in partnership with Morrisons, marking the retailer’s entry into financial services.

Available via Morrisons.com, the new offering includes Morrisons branded pet and travel insurance products, underpinned by A-rated insurer capacity and supported by a seamless digital customer journey delivered through Hood Group’s platform and developed in partnership with Morrisons.

Morrisons Pet Insurance will offer three levels of lifetime pet cover, underwritten by Burns and Wilcox Global Solutions Limited for and on behalf of Accredited Insurance (UK) Limited. The vet cover options include £2,500, £5,000 or £10,000 per year and can pay vet fees directly. The service includes 24/7 Vet Assistance with access to qualified, UK-based vet nurses and vets online or over the phone at Pet Health Assist Line. Customers can also benefit from the inclusion of cover for pre-existing conditions if pets have not received treatment for these in the past two years.

Morrisons Travel Insurance, underwritten by AXA, also offers three tiers of cover to suit a range of budgets and includes gadget cover as standard when purchased directly from Morrisons.

Morrisons More Card holders will benefit from exclusive rewards when policies are purchased directly, earning 20,000 More Points on every pet insurance policy and a 10 percent discount on travel insurance policies for both single and annual multi trip. Once customers collect 5,000 More Points, they receive a Morrisons Fiver, which can be redeemed on a future shop in store or online.

Customers can access Morrisons Insurance via dedicated landing pages on Morrisons.com, before moving through to the partner hosted site to get a quote and buy the policy.

Morrisons is continuing to explore additional products and features to add to their insurance offer in partnership with Hood Group.
