The latest news from Warranty Solutions Group;
Warranty Solutions Group (WSG) has been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women™ 2026 by Great Place To Work® UK, reinforcing the company’s commitment to building an inclusive workplace within a traditionally male-dominated industry.
Ranked 53rd in the Medium Business category, the accolade is based entirely on confidential employee feedback and recognises organisations where women consistently experience high levels of trust, opportunity and workplace satisfaction.
The accreditation comes during a period of exceptional growth for WSG as the business continues to expand its presence across the motor trade, fleet, insurance and aftermarket sectors. It follows a landmark year for the business, which surpassed £30 million in paid warranty claims since 2021 while continuing to strengthen its data, warranty and aftersales services across the automotive sector.
WSG says the recognition reflects a long-standing belief that exceptional businesses are built by exceptional people. As the company has grown, it has remained committed to creating a workplace where talented people can build meaningful careers, develop their skills and feel valued for the contribution they make. The business believes that attracting, developing and retaining talented people is fundamental to building a stronger, more innovative and successful organisation.
For WSG Director Steph Newbery, the award represents one of the company’s proudest achievements. “It’s something we are incredibly proud of because it reflects the culture we’ve worked hard to build over the past few years. As a female Director in a traditionally male-dominated industry, it’s particularly rewarding to see WSG recognised as a place where women are empowered to develop, lead and influence the future of the business.
“We’ve always believed opportunities should be based on talent, ambition and potential, not gender. This award reinforces that we’ve created an environment where those opportunities genuinely exist.”
This recognition also sends a positive message to the wider automotive industry at a time when attracting and retaining talented people has never been more important. Despite experiencing significant growth and welcoming many new colleagues, WSG has remained committed to putting its people at the centre of the business. The company believes its success has been built through strong leadership, open communication, investment in learning and development, and creating opportunities for colleagues to progress their careers.
She added: “This award is especially meaningful because it is based on feedback from our own people. It reflects the experiences of those who know WSG best and reinforces that we’re creating an environment where everyone has the opportunity to succeed based on their ability, not their background.
“We’ve worked hard to remove barriers, encourage collaboration and support colleagues to take on new challenges, develop new skills and progress their careers. Inclusion isn’t something we talk about occasionally – it’s reflected in the decisions we make every day.”
WSG sees the award as another milestone in its long-term growth journey. Steph added: “This recognition belongs to everyone across WSG who contributes to our success every single day. Whether they’re supporting customers, leading teams, developing new ideas or helping shape the future of the business, their professionalism, expertise and commitment have helped make WSG the company it is today.
“We’ll continue listening to our colleagues, investing in their development and creating opportunities for long-term career progression, ensuring WSG remains a place where talented people can do the best work of their careers.”
