An interesting move here from Repairify;
Repairify, the UK’s only true full-service diagnostics and calibration provider, has announced its role as a founding member of the newly established Remote Service Supplier (RSS) Community, reinforcing its commitment to supporting independent workshops as vehicle technology becomes increasingly complex.
Hosted by FIGIEFA, the European Federation representing independent automotive parts distributors, the RSS Community brings together leading providers of remote diagnostics, software programming, coding, calibration, and technical support services from across Europe. Together, its members will promote greater understanding of the increasingly important that role remote services play in keeping modern vehicles safely on the road while advocating for a competitive and innovative independent aftermarket.
Repairify’s involvement reflects the business’ long-standing commitment to helping workshops overcome the growing technical challenges associated with connected, electrified, and software-defined vehicles. As repairs become increasingly reliant on software, manufacturer-specific procedures, and specialist expertise, remote services are more critical than ever in enabling workshops to access expert assistance in real time, reducing vehicle downtime while helping workshops complete repairs safely, accurately, and profitably.

The new Community brings together a broad cross-section of Europe’s leading Remote Service Suppliers. Alongside supporting workshops, the Community will engage with policymakers and industry stakeholders to encourage a regulatory environment that promotes innovation, fair competition, and continued consumer choice.
