The latest partnership news from Sixfold and Sollers for you, as they target underwriting transformation;
Sixfold, the AI underwriting Insurtech trusted by global insurers, has recently announced a strategic partnership with Sollers Consulting, the international insurance technology consultancy, to help insurers accelerate underwriting transformation by combining AI risk assessment with deep insurance consulting and implementation expertise.
Under the partnership, Sixfold and Sollers will work together on insurer transformation programmes across Europe, the UK and North America. That means insurers can automate submission intake, assess risk against their own appetite, and get transparent, explainable underwriting recommendations, all within their existing systems and workflows. Together, the partnership gives insurers AI, consulting and technology implementation within a single transformation programme. The two companies are already collaborating on several engagements, with each one tailored to the insurer’s technology and underwriting requirements.
Sixfold work with global P&C and L&H insurers such as Zurich, Skyward Speciality, AXIS, and Generali GC&C. To date, it has processed more than 1.5 million submissions across more than 50 lines of business. Customers see 50% to 97% faster processing, hit ratios up 15% or more, and up to 30% more GWP per underwriter. Rather than replacing existing underwriting systems, Sixfold integrates with existing technology.
“Insurers should not have to replace the systems their underwriters already use to get value from AI,” said Roger Ferrandis, Head of Partnerships at Sixfold. “Sixfold works within those systems and comes with underwriting knowledge built in from day one. Sollers know how those systems are set up and used. Together, that gets insurers to better underwriting results faster.”
Sollers has worked with more than 150 insurance organisations worldwide, supporting insurers including Admiral, Aviva, AXA, Beazley, IAG, Liberty, QBE, Sompo, Tokio Marine and Zurich. Its expertise spans underwriting transformation, core insurance platforms, cloud technologies and systems integration, making it a natural partner for insurers.
“We’ve built Sollers’ underwriting practice around the belief that the right technology, applied to the right part of the process, delivers outstanding results,” said Jakub Śliwiński, Head of Underwriting at Sollers. “Sixfold makes submission handling faster, more consistent and more intelligent. Together, we can help insurers achieve measurable results quickly while laying the foundations for underwriting transformation.”
The partnership builds on the companies’ shared focus on practical, business-value-led transformation. Sixfold and Sollers also share strategic technology partners, including Guidewire and Salesforce, so insurers can deploy AI within their existing ecosystems. The companies will also work together on joint educational initiatives, including webinars and industry engagement for carriers and MGAs.
