Earnix Looks Back on Successful Excelerate Conference in London

The word from Earnix after their recent event in London;

Earnix, the AI company purpose-built for insurance decisioning, today announced the conclusion of Earnix Excelerate London 2026, bringing more than 350 insurance leaders together to examine how AI, changing risk and mounting economic and regulatory pressures are reshaping the industry.

Across executive keynotes, customer sessions, and panels focused on the key challenges facing insurers today, one theme emerged: insurers have more data, models, and intelligence than ever, but competitive advantage increasingly depends on how quickly they can turn that intelligence into better decisions and bring those decisions into production. Doing so at speed, while maintaining the governance, control, and explainability required in insurance, is becoming a critical differentiator.

Risk is changing faster, economics are becoming more demanding, and AI is expanding what insurers can understand and act on. At the same time, regulators and customers are asking for more from insurers — from greater transparency and accountability to products and experiences that respond more quickly to changing consumer needs.

The challenge is not simply having more intelligence. It is turning that intelligence into decisions and bringing those decisions into production quickly enough to keep pace with change, without sacrificing the governance and control insurers require. That means bringing the right information, models, and expertise together across everyday decisions, from pricing and underwriting to customer engagement.

Intelligent Decisioning makes that possible by bringing data, predictive models, generative and agentic AI, business rules, and human expertise together around the decisions that matter. For insurers, that means turning intelligence into precise decisions and bringing those decisions into production quickly within a governed environment, enabling them to respond faster to changes in risk and customer behavior, adapt strategies with greater speed, and maintain the control and oversight the industry demands.

“The competitive challenge for insurers is increasingly one of agility,” said Robin Gilthorpe, CEO of Earnix. “Markets will change, risk will change and the capabilities of AI will continue to change. The advantage will come from being able to respond — to make decisions, test them, learn and course-correct with the speed and control the business requires.”

Agentic AI moves intelligence closer to the business

During Excelerate London, sessions and demonstrations explored how insurers can turn growing AI investment into measurable business value by moving intelligence closer to the decisions and workflows where it can extend human capability.

Agentic AI is an important part of that shift. Rather than simply generating insight, agents can gather information, apply domain context and complete defined tasks on behalf of users, with humans remaining in the loop for oversight, review and control. This helps reduce friction between intelligence and action while supporting the governance insurers need as AI moves into production.

Earnix demonstrated that potential through the launch of Agent Hub, introducing production-ready, insurance-specific agents spanning pricing, underwriting, modeling, customer engagement, data and technology. These operate within AIOS, Earnix’s AI Orchestration System purpose-built for insurance, where agentic AI can work alongside predictive and generative AI, models, business rules, data and human expertise.

The opportunity is not automation for its own sake, but enabling insurance professionals to act faster and with better context while retaining control over consequential decisions.

Greater capability requires stronger governance

Excelerate London also underscored the other side of that opportunity: as AI moves closer to core insurance decisions, governance is critical.

Sessions on responsible AI and regulation highlighted growing expectations around consumer protection, fairness, explainability and accountability, alongside new scrutiny over how AI systems operate.

That requires governance to be built into the technology itself. At Excelerate London, Earnix demonstrated governed environments designed to support regulatory requirements through defined authority and permissions, traceable actions, human oversight and clear accountability. Rather than operating as a black box, these environments give practitioners visibility into how decisions are made and an accessible way to manage, review and control decisions as they move into production.

For Earnix, this is where insurance-native AI expertise is critical. AIOS and Agent Hub are designed to apply AI within the business rules, controls and regulatory requirements that surround insurance decisions, extending human capability without sacrificing accountability or control.

Closing the insurance agility gap

The sold-out London event drew more than 350 attendees and marked the third and final Earnix Excelerate event of 2026, completing a record year of sold out events across its three global headquarters.

Across Paris, Boston and London, the Excelerate series reflected the evolution of Earnix’s strategy: extending the strength of its core decisioning capabilities, introducing AIOS as the orchestration layer for predictive, generative and agentic AI, and bringing those capabilities closer to the business decisions that drive performance.

The progression reflects a broader shift in the conversation around AI: from what the technology can do to how insurers can put it to work to drive business value, moving from pilots to production-ready applications.
