The London Market Group (LMG) has launched Talent Finder – creating a pool of entry level talent that will offer HR professionals a simple route to diverse entry level talent, reducing the time and complexity required in finding and assessing suitable candidates.
Talent Finder does the heavy lifting for firms, removing the need to sort through hundreds of CVs by providing a short list of pre-assessed, diverse candidates, creating a year-round source for entry level roles across the market.
Caroline Wagstaff, CEO, London Market Group said: “The London Market is facing a looming skills gap from an ageing workforce and a shortfall in numbers of entry level talent being recruited. But we know that finding the right talent can often feel like fishing – you case a wide net, sift through thousands of applications and hope you are landing the right ones.
“With Talent Finder we have done the legwork to identify motivated young people, assessed them for the skills employers want and given them work readiness training. Firms give us a role description and get a short list for interview in return – time and cost effective. Less time sifting CVs and more on the meeting the right candidates”.
The recruitment offering aims to:
Reduce time and effort in the search process so firms can concentrate on the value of choosing and onboarding.
Widen access for high-potential, low-opportunity young people who face barriers to employment.
Offer a service which is not priced for profit.
The programme itself seeks to deliver extra resources to HR professionals, specifically those in SMEs, or firms which hire fewer than five candidates a year. Many in this group do not have specialised in-house recruitment teams, and the LMG’s Talent Finder will act as the link point between firms and a large pool of pre-qualified candidates that they might not otherwise be able to tap into.
