Vetsure has recognised the stress and frustration many pet owners feel when making a claim on their pet insurance policies.
The company has designed a user-friendly online claims system that puts the owner in control, and allows the vet to check the essential details of the cover.
From diagnosis to claim approval can take as little as 11 minutes, says Vetsure, which still sees plenty of opportunity to further enhance and smooth the admin process, once a claim is submitted.
Having been already shortlisted in the `Insurance Claims Initiative of the Year’ awards, Vetsure is hoping to build its reputation as an innovative player in this sector as it expands.
The Money Advice Service estimates that the typical pet insurance claim is around £270, but claims can run into thousands for serious conditions. Money Mail also reported in 2016 that pet owners are increasing seeking policies which offer treatments like hydrotherapy or acupuncture for arthritis, or other ongoing conditions.
