AG Cover, the independent London Market insurance broker, has appointed Paul Cole into its P&I (Protection and Indemnity) team. Paul brings a wealth of experience to AG, with his past roles including 13 years at Aon Risk Solutions, followed by 6 years at marine brokerage BMS Harris & Dixon, where he served as a Director.
Cole’s appointment is part of AG’s commitment to continued expansion and investment into both its marine and non-marine capabilities. Paul has worked for 23 years in the P&I and marine liability sector, beginning his career in the underwriting department of a P&I Club where he worked for 5 years before moving into broking.
For the past 18 years, Cole has worked on the design and placement of P&I, charterers liability and marine liability programmes for shipowners worldwide across all marine industry sectors, developing an excellent understanding of shipowners’ insurance requirements and the markets best able to competitively provide such coverage.
