Auto Legal Protection Services (ALPS), one of the UK’s leading providers of motor claims solutions, legal expenses and additional products, has launched a new motor breakdown service for the insurance market, with Smartphone Assistance Tracking.
In partnership with The Mansfield Group (TMG) the new motor breakdown model is focused on the customer journey, making sure the right resource is provided first time – the right equipment, parts, labour and vehicles necessary. This accurate situation analysis results in efficiency and speed of recovery. This, coupled with its smartphone assistance tracking, for both personal and commercial motor and state of the art recovery vehicles, will enable intermediaries to completely differentiate their motor breakdown offering in the market.
ALPS Road Rescue also gives policyholders exclusive access to 18 TMG owned Service Centres placed around the UK, with fully equipped workshops including LGV commercial vehicle repair facilities, which are fully operational 24/7, 365 days a year and fitted with comfortable, modern waiting rooms, helping customers to get back on the road as quickly as possible. They also provide vehicle storage facilities available for secure overnight storage.
TMG operates the claims and assistance service from a single contact centre. Clients are updated throughout the recovery process via a tracking link sent directly to them via text message, no matter what time of day or night, so they know exactly where their recovery operator is at any one time. No mobile App is necessary. Every action is time stamped and recorded for complete transparency.
Policies are underwritten by an ‘A- Rated’ Insurer.
The Mansfield Group (TMG) has 40 years’ experience in the vehicle recovery market. Its fleet of trucks are Euro 6 compliant, enabling them to work in congested areas and they have a full fleet replacement plan in place. This places them above any of their competitors. TMG are the only company in their industry to be rewarded with 5 ISO awards and have been one of the leading suppliers of motor recovery services to well known brands for many years. As a testament to their performance, they are the trusted recovery provider for 14 Police Authorities and 5 Ambulance Trusts, who require expert assistance in difficult circumstances.
