
SEIB Insurance Brokers took the title of Personal Lines Broker of the Year at the British Claims Awards on the 6th June. This is the second time in as many years that SEIB has won this high-profile award. The British Claims Awards ceremony was held at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul’s and hosted the top insurance companies in the UK. The judging panel were particularly impressed with SEIB’s commitment to their top-quality staff and their resolute focus on customer satisfaction.
SEIB’s Financial Director Bipin Thaker and Claims Operations Manager Donna Leavens collected the award from Commercial Development Director at Slater and Gordon Group, James Emery and Comedian, Lucy Porter. Bipin was delighted that SEIB has now won this award two years in a row. He said: “We have all the staff at SEIB to thank for this brilliant achievement. This award has provided the committed staff of SEIB with recognition for the great job they do. Our company culture at SEIB is to give something back. This focuses on our clients and the development of our staff and we are delighted that the hard work of our team has been recognised.”
British Claims Awards panel judge, James Dalton, of the Association of British Insurers said: “Our winner has a very flexible claims notification approach with some excellent client testimonials and the company operates in particularly niche markets.”
SEIB has a very high customer satisfaction score and the company is renowned for its performance in niche insurance markets. As well as being specialists in Horse Insurance, SEIB have a longstanding commitment to the funeral, specialist motor and property sectors. The company are market leaders in association and charity insurance and have close relationships with trusted organisations such as The British Horse Society, World Horse Welfare, Redwings and the Animal Health Trust. SEIB currently insure the bulk of large equestrian organisations, charities and groups within the industry.
Putting something back is embedded in the culture of SEIB. Alongside supporting their staff through insurance qualifications and many other development initiatives, the company sponsor several employees to help them in reaching their equestrian goals. The SEIB team also do a huge amount for local and national charities and SEIB recently held their SEIB Charity Awards which provided a grant of £100K to charities voted for by SEIB customers. SEIB support a vast number of grass roots equestrian competitions including the longstanding and hugely popular SEIB Search for a Star series which has given many amateur riders opportunities they could only otherwise dream about.
