Specialist medical travel insurance provider AllClear has added to its two other prestigious National Awards by winning Personal Lines Broker of the Year at the Broker Innovation Awards.
The award recognises insurance brokers that have not only achieved financial success, but also demonstrated exceptional levels of customer acquisition and retention and positive client testimonials. It is also awarded to those companies who have used technology to differentiate their service.

AllClear was recognised for achieving a 9.5 out of 10 Trustpilot score and investing in its UK call centres, with 100 new staff recruited in the last year. Additional resource was also allocated towards training and employee engagement. Furthermore, its work in championing vulnerable customers was also recognised, with specific mention of its support of the Financial Conduct Authority’s ‘Access to Insurance’ campaign, where it set up a charity Action Group to better understand the needs of those with medical conditions accessing travel insurance.
Chris Rolland, AllClear CEO, says to have won three National Awards is a huge honour:
“This award truly acknowledges the hard work and dedication by so many people across every area of the entire business. Their dedication to our Customer Experience Programme has resulted in a Trustpilot score of 9.5 out of 10, with 97% voting us as excellent or great,” he says.
“We have also been nominated for the Personal Lines Broker of the Year at the UK Broker awards, which are celebrated later this month. To be recognised in this way across our entire industry is testament to the quality of product and service that we are delivering. My thanks to all my colleagues who have contributed to this success.”
The awards ceremony was held at London’s Leonardo Royal Hotel on 4th September 2019.
