Direct Line Buys Weybridge Service Centre, Expands its DLG Auto Arm

Direct Line Group has today announced that they’ve acquired a new Auto Service centre in Weybridge. The accident repair centre will increase the Group’s capacity within its wholly owned DLG Auto Services network bringing additional efficiencies and great customer service to the business.

Over the last few years Direct Line Group has invested heavily in technology, equipment and training and the purchase of this repair centre is another step to ensuring it can operate in the best possible way for customers. All the sites, including this one has achieved BS10125 accreditation which means the repair centres operate to the highest standards of safety and quality in repairs to damaged vehicles.

Paul Nightingale, Director of Motor Networks & Engineering Services commented, “I’m delighted to announce that our DLG Auto Services network continues to grow and today we have agreed a deal to obtain an accident repair centre in Weybridge.

“This acquisition marks another big milestone in the DLG Auto Services journey, bringing our network of sites to 21. All existing employees at the new site have been informed of the purchase and a TUPE consultation process for the existing employees to transfer to Direct Line Group is in progress.
