AG Insurance Gives e20 Vouchers to Customers, to Support Local Economy

Belgian insurer AG is aware of the impact of the Covid-19 crisis on its customers, both individuals and entrepreneurs. The insurer has therefore given 200,000 customers a 20 euro voucher to spend freely with local traders and SMEs most affected by the crisis.

In concrete terms, AG has released EUR 4 million to support its most affected customer traders during this difficult period and, on the other hand, to reward its ‘total customers’ in Non-life insurance.

“We will give those customers purchase vouchers that they can spend with the participating traders. In total, this concerns 200,000 vouchers that customers can spend with potentially 30,000 participating traders all over Belgium. An action to get traders back on their feet after the lockdown but especially to help them with this new corona wave, “explains Edwin Klaps, Managing Director of AG.

The offer is very wide, both geographically and sectorally (catering, hairdressers and beauty shops, retail non-food) and in time (valid for 3 months).

With this action we want to apply the solidarity principle that is woven into our DNA as an insurer. We thank our most loyal customers with a purchase receipt. We support our customer traders who are struggling because of the corona crisis. And we help the local economy in Belgium to brave this new corona wave. In this way we show ourselves as a real supporter of our customers, our traders and the economy , “says Edwin Klaps.
