Davies, the leading specialist professional services and technology business,
announces the acquisition of ContactPartners, the specialist cloud application provider, delivering bespoke
customer contact technologies for the insurance, banking and wider financial services markets.
Based in Oxford, UK, ContactPartners manages more than 10m client interactions annually for some of the
largest names in UK financial services, through cloud based digital transformation. The firm helps organisations
of all sizes to improve their contact strategies and customer experience using a range of digital technologies.
ContactPartners will join Davies already established Consulting & Technology division, led by Mark Grocott, and
will re-brand to Davies Technology Solutions in early 2021. The wider Consulting & Technology division provides
customer experience, resourcing and learning solutions as well as data and compliance technology to the
insurance and wider regulated markets. ContactPartners founding directors Russell Hopcraft and Paul Harvey
will continue to lead the business, and will report to Davies’ Technology Solutions head, Jason Wolfe.
The deal marks Davies fourth acquisition of 2020, following the acquisition of Keoghs, the insurance-focused,
top-50 law firm, which was announced in January and completed earlier in March, Codebase8 the automation
and digital solutions provider to the insurance and other highly regulated markets, and Citadel & Cedar
Consulting the captive management and consulting businesses.
In recent years Davies has increased its annual investments in innovation and digital transformation more than
four-fold, including in its CQ claims processing platform, legal AI and automation, its video and drone claims
handling solutions, as well as investing in automation, speech analytics and virtual reality training solutions.
Globally Davies has more than 3,750 colleagues, with operating centres across the UK, Ireland, Bermuda, the US
and Canada. The business delivers professional services and technology solutions across the risk and insurance
value chain, including excellence in claims, underwriting, distribution, regulation, customer experience, human
capital, digital transformation & change management.
