The two appointments come as part of SchemeServe’s ongoing growth plans and recruitment drive to stay ahead of increased demand for its services and to maintain high service levels.  SchemeServe has hired six new staff since the start of Covid-19.

Dave Mooney joins SchemeServe as an experienced front-end UI Web Developer with seven years’ experience.  Liaising with the back end, UI and UX teams, he will be responsible for building front end responsive interfaces for the insurance schemes on the SchemeServe platform.

Ben Whyman Cert II joins SchemeServe’s growing team of Wunderwriters, responsible for working with clients to design and build new schemes on the platform.  Ben joins with 10 years’ experience of insurance, most recently at Huntswood Financial Services where he was a case handler.  Prior to that he spent six years as a Branch Manager for Swinton Insurance.

SchemeServe has grown its headcount since the start of last year due to the continued demand from the industry for innovative cloud-based insurance software solutions, particularly for delegated authority schemes business.  The SchemeServe platform enables clients to launch bespoke insurance products in a matter of days and at a fraction of the cost of the big software houses, without sacrificing on flexibility, customisation or user experience.

Adam Bishop, Founder and CEO of SchemeServe comments: “I’m delighted to welcome Dave and Ben to the team.  It’s an unusual time to be joining any company, but cloud-based solutions like ours are at the forefront of the move to modernise for most SME sized brokers and MGAs.  It is truly exciting to see the movement gathering momentum due to Covid.  Never before has the industry seen such demand for technology solutions capable of driving real practical and affordable change in the industry.  SMEs brokers, MGAs and insurers are all taking advantage of the new and efficient distribution and marketing capabilities that SchemeServe has to offer.  We are in the right place at the right time with a talented team behind us.”
