Malmö-based Insurtech company Upptec has announced that it has signed an agreement with one of the world’s largest insurance companies, which is in the top 25 among the Global Fortune 500 companies. The deal covers the company’s operations in 57 countries globally and will launch in Italy during this week.
“We see it as proof that our software is a world leader when one of the world’s largest insurance companies, which is about 25 times larger than the dominant insurance company in the Nordic region, chooses to implement and integrate Upptecs solution into their global claim management system covering 30 countries,” says Magnus Franck, CEO of Upptec.
Upptec is focused on automated claims settlement and is currently implementing a substantial investment in growth. In the next few years, Upptec plans to increase sales by 100 percent per year.
Upptecs ambition is to get rid of unnecessary paperwork, telephone queues and long processing times in the insurance companies by helping the companies meet the policyholder digitally, at any time, with an extraordinary customer experience.
