Staysure Group has announced its acquisition of ROCK Insurance Group, a leading travel insurance white labelling and partnerships business. It is set to be a mutually beneficial business decision that will expand the group’s customer base and allow Staysure Group access to sell ROCK’s innovative products and services.
The deal will further extend Staysure Group’s footprint, alongside the recent acquisitions of Avanti travel insurance and PayingTooMuch.com – two companies that had doubled in size prior to the pandemic and will increase the Staysure Group’s customer base to over 4 million.
This strategic move into the B2B arena, will enhance Staysure Group’s product offering and technical capability, strengthening its position as the UK’s leading provider in the highly competitive travel insurance marketplace.
ROCK Insurance Group, which began trading in 2001, provides technology-led partnership solutions for a diverse selection of travel and financial services companies including Jet2, OnTheBeach and Tesco Bank, with a focus on travel, gadget and commercial insurance. It will continue to be managed as a standalone business under the leadership of Managing Director, Antony Martin from its offices in Crawley. ROCK Insurance Group has ambitious growth plans and has continued to expand a number of partnerships throughout the pandemic.
