Thomas Miller Specialty, a global insurance provider writing across a number of sectors including marine P&I, offshore marine and energy and ATE, has announced the establishment of a new construction business, Thomas Miller Specialty Construction. TMSC will deliver a market leading latent defect offering for mixed use and tenure developments within the UK.
TMSC will utilise and build on Thomas Miller’s many years of expertise within latent defect insurance with a focus on service, target clients, and the provision of extensive cover. TMSC will operate on a broker distribution model only, strengthening existing links and establishing new relationships within the broker market. Technical services to support underwriters with risk management and consultancy services will continue to be provided through an in-house Risk Solutions company.
