Hagerty, one of the world’s largest automotive lifestyle brands, is famous for its leading insurance products and multi-platform automotive content, but it also offers a diverse and exciting calendar of global events.
The latest event to be announced is Hagerty’s inaugural UK driving tour. Taking place 14th to 17th October, the 2022 Hagerty Driving Tour offers the chance to take a cherished car on some of the best driving roads in Britain, set against the stunning backdrop of the Brecon Beacons. To deliver this experience Hagerty has partnered with Scenic Car Tours, an expert classic car tour firm with over 25 years of experience in pairing classic cars with some of the best driving routes around the world.
Over four days and three nights, guests get the chance to explore the likes of the Pembrokeshire Coast, Blaenavon Heritage Site, Carreg Cennen Castle, and the Dan yr Ogof Caves. At the end of a full day of driving, guests can relax at our hand-picked Metropole hotel, with dinner, bed and breakfast included. All drivers receive a detailed roadbook, including maps, driving routes and details of local attractions along with a commemorative rally plaque.
Prices start at £399 per adult, and places on the tour are strictly limited. Interested drivers can browse the full itinerary, details of the hotel and planned route for this exciting new driving tour here.
Mark Roper, Managing Director of Hagerty International, said “Hagerty is well known for supporting a variety of UK events, and for hosting our own Festival of the Unexceptional concours, but this is our first dynamic driving event. Hagerty has long encouraged classic car owners to get out and enjoy their vehicles, and what better reason than to join the Hagerty team on a wonderful driving tour on beautiful Welsh roads. We look forward to welcoming drivers to Wales later this year and remind interested drivers that we welcome cars of all types, fast or slow, vintage, or modern classic.”
