Quotech, the underwriter-led insurTech that creates practical systems for specialty insurers, brokers, and MGAs, has hired three development personnel to meet burgeoning demand for its custom-built, data-focussed risk underwriting and distribution solutions.
Nick Apostolides joins Quotech as Lead Software Developer. With 20 years’ development experience and two Masters degrees (in computing science and theoretical physics), Nick joins after three and half years at Matillion, where as Java Tech Lead he drove the development of Matillion ETL for Azure Synapse.
Mark Antoine joins Quotech as Product Manager. After beginning his career in accounting, Mark worked on insurance-related software development, where he developed end-to-end policy administration platforms with quote & bind, endorsement, cancellation, and renewal functionality.
Chris Pickford joins Quotech as Quality Assurance Engineer. After a stint as a Claims Fraud Investigator, Chris Pickford acquired high-level qualifications – including through a software engineering apprenticeship – to become a quality assurance professional. Now he brings it all together at Quotech.
