Certua Working With Endsleigh on Embedded Cover

Endsleigh’s new insurance offering for Mental Health First Aid England Instructor Members utilises the Certua Embedded Finance platform.

With over 30 years’ experience in the Charity and Not-for-Profit sector, Endsleigh provide bespoke products and services that meet the ever-evolving needs of the sector. Endsleigh have worked with a leading insurer to develop a competitive product, with their Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance customised using Certua’s platform to suit the needs of MHFA England’s Instructor Members.

Using the Certua platform, Certua will handle product administration, risk assessment and user experience digitally, enabling Endsleigh to offer new and innovative products to MHFA England in a seamless way.

A wide variety of distribution methods enable MHFA England to easily input products into their existing Instructor Members’ proposition, regardless of their technical capability. MHFA England will benefit from direct product access and a range of ways to integrate these products– these include via API, web components or a fully hosted, regulatory compliant white labelled user experience.

Simon Blake OBE, Chief Executive, MHFA England commented:

“Without our network of over 3,000 Instructor Members, we wouldn’t have been able to train 1 in 50 adults in England in mental health first aid (MHFA), knowledge and skills. Their dedication means that we remain the country’s leading provider of MHFA. Therefore it is vital that we provide them with the necessary tools to carry out their work diligently and  safely. I believe this new platform does just that and I am delighted that we are able to offer our Instructor Members this new service.”

Tom Williams, CEO at Certua added:

“The opportunity for embedded insurance to improve access to products which are mandatory for performing professional duties is significant. It is excellent to see social enterprises like MHFA England now benefiting from Embedded Insurance products by partnering with forward thinking insurance brokers like Endsleigh.

Asif Khan, Associate Director at Endsleigh Insurance said;

“MHFA England continues to be at the forefront of delivering mental health skills and awareness training and their Instructor Members are the beating heart that facilitate this.  With technology firm, Certua and our insurer partner, it has been an exciting time to use technology to create a simple to use yet comprehensive product. We believe in innovating in insurance, and this is another example of how Endsleigh are creating high tech, high touch solutions within the Not-for-Profit sector. We are all excited about this new opportunity and are determined to make it a great success.”
