NextGen has launched with price comparison pioneer, Quotezone.co.uk, joining its panel of expert bicycle insurers, live from September 2022.
Founded in August 2019 by Alan Hickman, former Head of Digital Capability and Delivery at LV=, this rapidly growing start-up acquired over 10,000 customers during the pandemic alone.
Headquartered just outside Colchester, Essex, NextGen exists to bridge the gap that exists in the home insurance space – targeting individuals that have an emotional connection and a financial interest in an item(s) often not adequately covered by traditional insurance products.
According to data from Quotezone.co.uk, 78% of cyclists spend more than a £1,000 on their bicycle, with the average sum insured being £4,163. Also, nearly a quarter have more than one bicycle at 23.2%.
Quotezone.co.uk was the first comparison site in the UK to add bicycle insurance as a comparison product.
