Healix Health Services, the UK’s leading independent healthcare trust provider, has today announced its acquisition of Halcyon Trustees, an independent specialist consultancy providing a range of professional support services for UK healthcare trusts.
Halcyon Trustees is the only independent trustee company which focuses its professional support services solely on the needs, issues and risks associated with operating healthcare trusts. It offers independent advice, support and training to leading companies and experts in the sector, including employers, trustees, trust administrators, insurers and independent advisers.
This acquisition will allow Healix Health Services to benefit from Halcyon’s extensive experience in trust governance and best practice to support its growing client base. The move will also cement its position as a market leader in driving improvements in governance standards and training for healthcare trusts in the UK.
As part of the acquisition, Halcyon Trustees co- founder and Managing Director John Dean will be joining the Healix Health Services team. The announcement follows Healix’s recent opening of its new Bristol office and further demonstrates its ambition to be the leading supplier of trust administration and governance services in the market.
