Leyland based courierinsurance.co.uk has been bought by New Era, which is part of JMG/Gauntlet group.
The deal sees truck and HGV specialist New Era buy the NW based fleet/goods in transit broker, which will continue to be headed up by Simon Moores, reports the Lancashire Telgraph.
Simon Moores commented: “Our sale to New Era presented a perfect opportunity to join forces with a team which has a mutual appetite to grow in this specialist area of insurance, combined with the benefits that being part of the wider JMG Group will bring.”
New Era are reportedly looking for more broker opportunities in the fleet, delivery or courier niches.
