Latest from Lycetts;
Newcastle-based insurance broker, Lycetts, has celebrated its move into new headquarters at the iconic Bank House development in the city centre. Speaking at an event to mark the official opening, Lycetts Client Director William Nicholl highlighted the significance of the move.
“Investing in a 15-year lease at this wonderful building underlines our support and belief in Lycetts, and our commitment to the North East,” he said.
Lycetts will now operate from the entire sixth level (10,000 sq ft) of the 14-storey landmark building. Designed to reduce carbon emissions, it has been awarded BREEAM Excellent Building status. For the previous 61 years, the company had been based at Milburn House, but new premises were needed to accommodate expansion and modern working practices.
Among the 120 guests joining in the celebrations were the Bishop of Newcastle Bishop, Helen-Ann Hartley, plus Rachel Hardwick of the Tiny Lives Trust also attended, along with a number of other North East charities which have benefited from Lycetts’ parent company, the Benefact Group. The Group is the third largest UK corporate donor to charity having donated more than £200 million since 2014.
