Stem Cell Bone Marrow Match Appeal: Can You Help?

Here’s the word from Carpenters on a vital charity appeal, close to the hearts of the staff there;

Carpenters Group are launching an appeal as one of our colleagues has a new born baby son who has sadly been diagnosed with Leukaemia. His best chance of survival is finding a donor match for an urgently needed stem cell transplant. It’s an incredibly upsetting time and we desperately want to find a donor match for the family. We are circulating details of Anthony Nolan – Saving the Lives of People with Blood Cancer, a charitable organisation matching potential donors and recipients.

Francis’s family were given the devastating news on August 9th and told his best chance of survival is having a bone marrow transplant from a donor who is a 10 out of 10 match with him.
