Vitality Extends Partnership With Livi

In an era where it can be difficult to get a same day GP appointment, or get hospital scans, tests and treatment, private health plans and insurance are becoming more popular. And affordable. One way that cost can be made accessible for most people is via partnerships betwen providers. Livi has just announced an extended partnership with Vitality to provide digital GP consultations to Vitality customers.

Here’s the word;

Through the app, Vitality GP delivers leading everyday care benefits which members can access quickly and easily. This includes access to 24/7 healthcare advice, and the sending of digital prescriptions directly to a member’s pharmacy. According to Vitality’s recent Health Claims Insights report, the app has continued to grow in popularity, delivering over 10,000 consultations every month in 2022, a 3x increase from 2019.

Livi’s supporting technology platform ensures Vitality GPs can now provide members with immediate pre-authorised referral for onward treatment. Members receive confirmation of their claim’s authorisation within minutes, with a link to book onward treatment through Vitality’s Care Hub. This gives members faster access to care, a more efficient service, and greater control over their onward care journeys.
