FullCircl, a SaaS platform that assists with regulatory compliance while driving client acquisition and retention, has today announced that Ashleigh Gwilliam has been promoted to Director of Insurance Industry Growth. Ashleigh’s promotion demonstrates FullCircl’s commitment to the insurance industry, ensuring its solutions meet the specific needs of the sector.
Insurance is one of the fastest growing sectors at FullCircl. Its platform is now used by 9 of the top 10 UK brokers and 40 of the top 50, as well as leading insurers, MGAs, networks, independent brokers, and premium credit providers. In 2023 FullCircl launched a highly successful integration with Acturis, and an exclusive broker facility in partnership with BIBA. With a 150% increase in annual recurring revenue from the sector, and a 121% net retention rate (NRR), FullCircl is exceeding InsurTech industry benchmarks.
Ashleigh has over a decade of experience working within insurers, primarily Howden and NFU Mutual, prior to joining FullCircl in 2019. In his new role he will liaise with clients, regulators, trade bodies and industry influencers to understand the current issues facing the industry, and build solutions into the product roadmap that help insurance businesses acquire and retain more customers, improve underwriting and risk selection, tackle underinsurance and address regulatory challenges such as the Consumer Duty. Ashleigh was appointed to BIBA’s Insurance Technology and Innovation Committee (ITIC) – providing him, and FullCircl, the chance to play a role in shaping its response to technology innovation on behalf of the broker community.
Speaking about the promotion, FullCircl’s CEO Andrew Yates said: “Ash is a highly valued member of the FullCircl team. We’ve seen tremendous demand from the insurance market in the last few years, and have an ambition to become the most valuable InsurTech platform for brokers, insurers and MGA’s. Ash will lead our growth plans and ensure we remain highly responsive to the needs of our clients and the wider market.”
Ashleigh responded: “I am thrilled to accept this new role. As the BIBA manifesto points out, helping businesses gain better access to insurance products has a key role to play in driving the UK economy forward. FullCircl is in a unique position to help the industry do exactly that. It’s an honour to work for a company with such a great culture and unwavering commitment to the success of its customers.”
