The latest partnership news from the Green Insurer;
The Green Insurer is linking with Effective Home, a leading provider of solar panel products and battery solutions. The collaboration will see policyholders of The Green Insurer car insurance3 earn £200 Leaves reward points when they purchase solar panels from Effective Home via The Green Insurer website.
Recent research undertaken by The Green Insurer, which is focused on helping drivers reduce carbon emissions, reveals that one in six (17%) Brits are planning to install solar panels in the future in an effort to reduce their carbon emissions. In addition to reducing their carbon footprint, households who generate their own solar energy can expect to see a saving of between £520 – £630 off their annual fuel bill. This saving can be increased further by using battery storage.
The Green Insurer’s Leaves scheme gives policyholders reward points based on their driving score and the number of miles they have driven. The £200 reward points earned from purchasing solar panels from Effective Home can be used by existing Green Insurer car insurance customers to reduce their premiums when they next renew their car insurance or can be exchanged for eGift vouchers that can be spent at leading supermarkets including ASDA, Tesco, Sainsbury’s Waitrose, Iceland and Morrisons plus a range of other retailers.
Paul Baxter, CEO, The Green Insurer, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Effective Home, which shares the same overall goal as ourselves to offer eco-conscious consumers green alternatives that help them reduce their personal carbon emissions. We know from our recent research that many people are considering installing solar panels and we hope that many of our policyholders will make the smart move to solar energy by purchasing through Effective Home which will see them earn up to £200 off their next insurance policy or their grocery bill.”
