The word from Allianz, who are official partners with TUI, one of the big names in package holidays.
Allianz Partners UK has been appointed travel insurance provider for leading travel and leisure company TUI’s UK business. Allianz Partners’ travel insurance is available to TUI customers and the travel provider’s wider family of brands, including Marella Cruises and Crystal Ski Holidays.
Through the partnership, TUI UK customers will be offered a choice of single trip or annual travel insurance. TUI will also market Allianz Partners’ travel insurance online under its own brand, making it available to travellers who haven’t booked through TUI.
In a move to simplify the customer experience, TUI customers can add travel insurance during the booking process. Customers will be able to claim via Allianz Partners’ online portal, where straightforward claims are processed automatically and paid immediately by Allianz’s AI bots, Edith and Florence. More involved claims will benefit from the support of the Allianz customer service team, including its specialist medical assistance team, which operates 24/7.
TUI’s UK partnership is the latest to roll out as the firm moves towards consolidating all its European travel insurance into Allianz Partners – with Germany, Poland, Switzerland and the Nordic countries already live.
