Simply Business Launches New `Simply The Best’ Ad Campaign

The word from Simply Business, one of the UK’s biggest providers of small business insurance, who recently launched its brand new ‘Simply The Best’ TV ad – a memorable play on Tina Turner’s 1980s hit ‘The Best’, which captures the feeling of knowing your business is protected. It’s an interesting marketing campaign created to tap into the ambition that underpowers most small business ventures. Here’s the word;

Putting a humorous spin on the well-known chorus, “Simply the best!” becomes “Simply Business!” amongst other lyric changes – creating a catchy song that the brand hopes will help small business owners remember where to turn for business insurance should they need support in finding cover.

Created in partnership with creative agency Truant, and directed by award-winning filmmaker Fred Rowson through Blink, the new creative builds on Simply Business’ positive tone from previous campaigns, and continues to bring an energy to a category which can sometimes feel intimidating to small business owners.

Building on the digital broker’s previous ‘You Name It. We Insure it’ campaign, the new creative represents an exciting new milestone for Simply Business, as the company look to help even more small businesses across the UK find the insurance that’s right for them.

Launching on 16 August, the ‘Simply The Best’ campaign will run across national TV, VOD, and online – led by Simply Business media partners MI Media and Brainlabs. It will kick off with a high-profile ad break on Sky Sports during the Premier League’s opening game and feature around key Paralympic Games coverage.

The campaign launch coincides with applications opening for Simply Business’ annual Business Boost competition, which offers one lucky winner a £25,000 cash grant to help them fuel big dreams for their small business.

Simply Business has given away over £85,000 to small business winners over the past four years. Small businesses can keep updated on when 2024 entries can be submitted on the Simply Business website. Entries are open until 15th October this year and the winner will be selected by an expert panel of judges.
