Alps Expands Vehicle Cover, Including Large Vans, Prestige Cars & More

Alps, a leading provider of insurance add-on policies, legal expenses, and claims solutions for intermediaries, has expanded its replacement vehicle cover.  The enhancements come after Alps moved its motor legal book to AmTrust International, an AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. multinational insurance division, offering niche solutions to businesses and their customers, under a full delegated authority agreement late last year, and in direct response to broker feedback on how it can deliver differentiated value to the motor market.

Alps has released more vehicle cover types under its replacement hire solution, including large van, saloon and prestige cars. This means that policyholders are more likely to secure a more suitable vehicle hire replacement with Alps.  Unlike other replacement options currently available in the market, this offering significantly enhances the embedded replacement options offered as part of most insurer’s core motor policies.

A further demonstration of its drive to continuously respond to broker demand, Alps has sourced these additional vehicle types and added them to the binder to deliver more choice, and better options for car owners, when standard vehicle types do not meet specialist or niche needs.  Alps plans to further expand its range of vehicle types in the coming months.
