The word from the LMA as the winners were announced recently;
The Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) is delighted to announce the winners of the 2025 LMA Claims Awards, revealed yesterday evening at a celebratory event held at Plaisterers’ Hall. The awards honour excellence across the Lloyd’s claims community and spotlight the diverse contributions that continue to drive the market forward.
The winners were selected by an esteemed panel of judges comprising of Matt Bunting, Lloyd’s, Gabrielle Folliard, AXIS Capital, Barbara Rizzi, Arch Insurance, and Stephen Roberts, RiverStone International. The panel considered more than 80 nominations across six nominated categories, recognising individuals and teams who have delivered exceptional service, demonstrated leadership and fostered innovation across the market.
The evening also gave special recognition to two selected awards that celebrate exceptional impact and collaboration across the claims community. The Enduring Impact Award, introduced by LMA CEO Sheila Cameron, was awarded to Charlotte Warr of Sarnia Training for her commitment to training and passion for education (picture attached). The LMACC Chair Award, introduced by the chairs of the LMA Claims Committee, Chris O’Shea at Markel and Rebecca Hartley at Hiscox, was awarded to the LMA NexGen Claims Group for their cross-market collaborative work on claims talent.

Janine Powell, Claims Director at the LMA, said: “We are proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of this year’s winners. These awards highlight the innovation, dedication and skill that exists across our claims community, and reinforce the vital role that claims plays in the success of the Lloyd’s market. Congratulations to all those recognised this evening.”
