Victor Insurance, the leading global managing general underwriter, has announced the launch of Victor Extended Warranty, a new global offering that provides underwriting services to insurers and reinsurers for extended warranty solutions including original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicles, motorbikes, scooters, light commercial vehicles (LCVs), vans, trucks, and tire protection.
Victor Extended Warranty addresses the increasing demand for dependable warranty solutions in a global market where complex technologies are reshaping consumer expectations. The fee-based services provided through Victor Extended Warranty include the development and annual review of underwriting and claims management services for insurers and reinsurers that wish to launch their own extended warranty solution, utilizing data-driven insights to manage risk at all points in the product life cycle. The service offering expands on Victor’s other auto-related insurance solutions, such as Victor Insurance Italy’s existing Auto Dealers program.
Victor Insurance also announced the appointment of Sunjay Patel as Managing Director of the newly created Victor Extended Warranty team. Mr. Patel is responsible for overall management and strategy of Victor Extended Warranty and brings 25 years of experience in the insurance sector, most recently serving as head of underwriting at White Oak Underwriting Agency Limited for 14 years. Based in London, he is supported by a global team of underwriting and claims specialists who have extensive extended warranty experience.
