Alps, a leading MGA specialising in add-on insurance products, legal expenses, and claims solutions for intermediaries, has announced the addition of Financial & Legal to its panel for Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) insurance.
Under the new agreement, Alps will offer a market-leading GAP product underwritten by Financial & Legal. Financial & Legal is one of a select group of insurers authorised by the FCA to underwrite GAP insurance, highlighting its strong compliance credentials and focus on consumer outcomes.
The GAP product includes a range of value-added features designed to enhance protection and deliver outstanding customer value, such as:
- Cover for vehicles valued up to £125,000
- Extended policy purchase period of up to 180 days after vehicle purchase
- No unfair market value or mileage clauses
- Fast claims pay-outs
- Pro-rata cancellation policy refund
Alps also provides bespoke product training for brokers to ensure confident and compliant sales conversations with clients.

The capacity for its products comes from a growing panel of insurers and it operates a number of delegated authority arrangements, allowing it to offer brokers a fast and efficient service.
