Alps, a leading provider of insurance add-on policies, legal expenses, and claims solutions for intermediaries, has announced a new partnership with credit hire company Cogent.
In a market where vehicle repair and replacement has become synonymous with combative, litigious, long-winded and delayed service, the partnership will set a new benchmark for “doing the right thing” when it comes to delivering responsible and transparent protection.
Responsive repair and replacement are vital to keeping vehicles and their drivers mobile. The Alps partnership with like-minded Cogent will provide brokers and their clients with access to a trusted repair network delivering transparent pricing and the tools to minimise delays, as well as rapid sourcing of appropriate replacement vehicles. Removing friction at every stage to keep drivers on the road and minimise the risk of unnecessary and contentious claims.
The rolling partnership agreement, with no volume tie-in, covers the Alps Motor product range including Motor Legal Protection and ALPS Complete. It gives brokers a significant point of differentiation, and gives their clients valuable peace of mind, regardless of fault or disputed accident situation, theft, fire, or other total loss event.

The capacity for its products comes from a growing panel of strongly rated insurers and it operates a number of delegated authority arrangements, allowing it to offer brokers a fast and efficient service.
