The business and IT consultancy Sollers Consulting has officially opened its first permanent office in the United States, located in the heart of Chicago. This marks a significant milestone for the company as it expands its footprint into the world’s largest insurance market.
The new Chicago office is Sollers’ 17th globally, joining locations in Poland, Germany, France, the UK, Japan, Spain, and Malaysia. The US expansion reflects the company’s commitment to supporting insurers in their digital transformation journeys, particularly as the market undergoes a major shift toward cloud-based systems and AI-driven solutions.
Brian Moore, Senior Manager and Head of North America, is leading Sollers’ US operations. “Chicago gives us a vibrant, central location to connect with our clients and partners,” said Moore. “The North American insurance industry is rapidly advancing its cloud transformation, leveraging data and AI to drive operational efficiencies. With our deep expertise in core systems, cloud, AI and data platforms, we are well positioned to help insurers accelerate this shift and realize meaningful business value.”
Sollers is recognized as one of the leading Guidewire experts globally, with nine specializations in the platform. Over 640 Sollers professionals have supported more than 60 insurers across North America, Europe, and Asia in optimizing their Guidewire infrastructure. In the US, Sollers is currently focusing on core systems, claims, and underwriting transformation. The company continues to expand its technological capabilities through strategic partnerships with leading cloud platforms and insurance solution providers, reinforcing its commitment to innovation in cloud, data, and core insurance systems.
This expansion coincides with Sollers’ 25th anniversary, celebrated through its “CEO Voices” interview series. In a recent edition, Markel Insurance CEO Simon Wilson emphasized the importance of combining product and process expertise with technological insight: “It’s only when we combine that deep understanding our teams have of their products and processes with knowledge of the technology that we’ll have solutions that will have a big impact.”
With its new US base, Sollers is poised to play a key role in helping insurers embrace the future of underwriting and AI adoption.
